Personality and Background: Alan Was born on the earth but always wanted to see the stars up close. Having little money and no family in space Alan decided his best chance to get into space was by joining the Military. But before his dream of getting into space could be realized the war started. Seeing the earth and space fighting Causes Alan great sadness but he is a dedicated person so even if his dreams lie in space he has never once questioned abandoning his duties to the earth federation. He will make it into space even if it is in a cockpit fighting Zeon.
Alan's laid back and polite attitude is not the image most people think of when they think of a soldier. But Alan's hard work and smiling disposition is usually enough to convince any one of his dedication to earth federation. For even if his heart is in space his spirit is with the earth.
Alan's Military career has been mostly uneventful. Before the war Alan worked as a test pilot on earth waiting just for his chance to enter space. But once the war had started Alan immediately went to his commanding officer to polity request a transfer to the front lines. Unfortunately for Alan by the time his transfer came in the war had reached earth. Alan has relatively low real combat experience. but his years as a test pilot have left him with countless hours of simulation training and non-combat piloting experience. He hopes he can transfer these experiences into good combat results to show the higher ups he is ready for space.
