In deep space, near the asteroid fortress Xiphidias-99, a faint glimmer appears above a floating piece of rock. As the sun cast its rays on the shoal zone, little by little, the silhouette of a large mobile suit slowly became visible. Eventually, the specter was revealed. It was the most heavily armed Gundam of the Aesir Wolves. Gundam... Balder.
Inside the cockpit of Gundam Balder was a young man, watching the battles unfold a couple of kilometers away from him. He stood motionless for a few seconds... and then radioed the pilots of the two Gundams that preceeded him.
"Gundams Heimdall and Freyja, this is Unit 103, Balder. I will now clear ground zero for escape. Do you read? I am giving you 50 seconds to escape."
After 50 seconds, the Gundam Balder lifted up its Mega Particle Cannon and set its sights on the three mobile suits from Chrome, which are nearly perfectly aligned for the shot. David hopes that the two Gundams have heard his warning.
Mega Particle Cannon Type: Beam Damage: 9400 Range: 2~9 spaces Cost: 100 EN Condition: Can only be fired after every phase. Special Effect: Can hit multiple targets within range.

Kain had just barely dodged the Heimdall's sword when a large beam came out of nowhere and destroyed the surrounding rocks around them.
Kain was almost fried to a crisp by that huge death ray. Luckily he was able to pick up the high energy reading and using his Prawn's custom boosters, managed to pull away from the blast zone without damage. However, he noticed that the paint on his silver machine was busted due to the intense heat. "What in heaven's name is that! Where did it come from?" The battle seemed like it was temporarily stopped due to the large energy burst.

He wouldn't have believed if the pilot hadn't contacted him beforehand. Balder was on the field, which meant they didn't have long to get out of the way, or risk near-destruction. Jonny didn't like leaving a battle like this, but he hit the boosters after his strike missed, speeding away just in time to avoid the massive beam of destruction. "That machine is the very definition of overkill." He commented on the scale of the Balder's firepower, before opening up communications with both of the other units.
"I think it's best if we get out of here whilst we have the chance. The operation was a dud, and I'd rather not stick around for Chrome reinforcements to show up." He said, finally easing up a bit. Their first mission may have been a failure, but that was only because it technically never existed. They shoved the Chromies around a bit, so now they'd be wary of the gundams in the future. Jonny used the asteroids for cover as he made his way back to the ship, hoping the others would stay undetected in he trip back.

Back at the AEO Moon Base.
“They must be caught up with something…” the general supposed. Largam stands impatiently beside Isshin, How long are we supposed to wait for those vets to return? I’m already having stomach issues just by standing here in this cold room. he thought to himself. After finishing his tea, Isshin uncrosses his legs and sets the cup down the table before motioning out with a faint grin, “I don’t suppose you have another test pilot lying around in the base.”
Nice move sir Isshin! Now if I can just excuse myself for a moment so I could head towards the comfort rooms. Largam thought.
General Sullivan rested his elbows on his desk and interlocked his fingers before laying ever so gently his lips unto his thumbs. Then he reclines back into his chair and puts his hand firmly faced down on the table. Its not like we have more than enough Gundams already. However it isn’t a bad idea to add one more. We have to seal this deal, even if it means letting that rookie test pilot the suit. We’ll just pretend he’s not a rookie and have him do simple tasks, that could work. Sullivan contemplated to himself. “Well… there is this one person.” the General replied.
(Katsushiro Asano that is you. Get ready to test pilot Gundam Soleil)

A.E.O. Moon base; Somewhere inside the docks...
Moments later Katsushiro was finally able to make it to the hangar bay looking more nicely dressed up and groomed compared to when he was jumping out of his quarters. He kept turning his head sideways and with is eyes he scanned the area for his friend Elfier. “I guess he’s not here yet is he?” the young man asked himself. Upon searching for his buddy, he catches a glimpse of the Park Heavy Industries Transport ship and it completely takes his mind off the quest to search for his friend. As he approached the ship, he wore a smile similar to that of a child just so anxious to open a present in Christmas. “I just want to see it!” He made a quick note then dashed towards the hangar doors.
The sliding doors opened silently, allowing Katsushiro and anyone else to access the main hangar of the transport ship, where Park Heavy Industries’ newest Gundam is being rested. The blue-haired pilot's first impression was that the new mobile suit was state-of-the-art, for having been built by Isshin Yaho, Head Engineer for Park Heavy Industries: sleek, clean, with no components out of place, well-illuminated... although, it had to be said, somewhat unsettling in its apparent perfection. He wouldn't have been surprised if someone told his that the mobile suit was completely controlled by an automated system... But that would take the fun out of it wouldn’t it?
But such consideration could be postponed for later. As the rookie pilot walked into the large room, the doors sliding closed behind him, a maintenance guy stood up and climbed down from their seats to introduce himself to the young pilot... who, in turn, straightened himself and saluted, which the silver-haired middle aged man quickly reciprocated.
"I ought to introduce myself. Lieutenant Philippe Pétain, maintenance guy of this ship." he said. "You must be the test pilot eh? Go ahead and check her out, I’ll be out for lunch and will be back in a few."
"T-test pilot? Ah... Yeah-yeah! hehehe" Katsushiro reluctantly answered without knowing that he was really the assigned test pilot for the Gundam. "My name is Asano Katsushiro. That is correct! Ahahaha! I am the test pilot!" he tried saying in the most convincing way he could.
As soon as the Maintenance guy had left, Katsushiro dastardly climbs on a small elevator and on to a platform leading to the Gundam’s cockpit. He was knowledgeable enough to be able to open the cockpit doors. But he doesn’t enter the mobile suit completely; he sticks his head in the cockpit and pulls out a side panel. Katsushiro proceeds by running a mobile suit diagnostic.
Katsushiro narrowed his eyes and looked down at the hangar doors, already imagining that they wouldn't be too pleased if they found out that he’s messing with the new mobile suit. However, he couldn’t seem to control his excitement and curiosity. At least, this way even if he got caught it would be worth the trouble. “It’s got a beam saber, beam vulcans and….”
“Its pretty much lightly equipped like the Heimdall. Unlike the Balder which has chest vulcans, linear guns not to mention a beam machete and its primary weapon the Mega Particle Cannon. Freya, aside from its claw weapons that can crush and shoot, it’s got a face mounted beam cannon that is effective even in mid range, and Gun Bits for taking out enemies from afar.” Katsushiro noted. As he neared the end of his investigation; he becomes rather misplaced after seeing, “Sol Invictus?”

A.E.O. Moon Headquarters, AEO Moon Library
Inside a big hexagonal room. if you will look from the ceiling, it's approximately 20 feet high in terms of height, with at least 5 hectares of space. Has a 2nd floor but it only acts like a balcony and the middle of the room is a big circular open space. There are alot of bookshelves in every corner including the walls of the 2nd floor and there are 10 computers facing in different directions. 5 computers for the far ends of the wall in the first floor, 4 high-end computers in the middle and in the center of the room is a mainframe for server purposes. Such feat can only be seen in AEO Moon HQ, The AEO Moon Library. Elfeir was found there researching about AEO and it's Mobile Suits since he was a new research officer and he was ordered to examine and give analysis to the past and present Mobile Suit functions and articulation. He stayed there for two and a half straight hours comparing such technology for it was to see if he is fit to become an officer.
"It started out with ARX-040, It's the most functional prototype ever created. Ever since, it began it's improvement. Changing the inner frame was a very good idea until we have this standard frame that every faction and private paramilitaries are currently using. It can be adjustable to either land, water, air and space. It's articulation have improved a lot but there are advantages and disadvantages as you put different outer frame body. So as including it with armaments."
The boy was so focused that he didn't even noticed the time.
"Hmm... the head concept of this build is... What the hell?!"
Elfeir stood up quickly and looked at the time. He forgot that he needs to go to the ship hangar and run some other errands. Quickly getting his trusty laptop, he heads out of the Library as he shows his ID and sign out on the log screen of the guard.
"Thank you" as he salute to the guard. The guard salutes back.
Notice that there's a handle that pops up in the beside Ian Vashti's shoulders which is common in space environments especially in long straight corridors.
As Elfeir step back to float, he did not noticed that one of the ZGG(Zero-Gravity Guide) Handles caught his belt from behind. The belt slightly tap back the button and the handle began dragging Elfeir in the corridor, Butt first.
"Wha... wait?! Whoa?? WHAAAA!!!!!!"
Screaming aloud from the corridor, he tried to release his belt but to no good because it was moving too fast. Most probably because the button with the 3 arrows was pressed. By this case, it means as fast as running. The button is only used for emergency purposes such as red alert or alarm but this time, it was an accident. The handle reached the very end and the belt released it self from the handle. It bumped so hard that Elfeir was sent rotating through another hallway that leads to the ship hangar. Elfeir slammed into the wall with his back flat and both feet straight up.
".... Aw..."
Then he saw this mirror in the hallway that shows the hangar where Park Heavy Industries Transport ship is parked. He saw Katsushiro enter the ship.
"What the hell are you doing in there... *facepalm*" he slaps himself in the face as he goes down 3 staircases and on to the Ship Hangar. Upon reaching the the Ship Hangar, Katsushiro was nowhere to be found.
"Where the hell did he go?" He scratches his head.

At the same time Isshin along with General Sullivan are on their way to the hangar to inspect the new Gundam prototype. The General had no idea that their last choice test pilot was already in the suit horsing around. Isshin on the other hand, sensed a gist of reluctance with the general’s impression. But he had no reason to be concerned; Isshin had the outmost confidence in ARX-104’s abilities he was sure the new model would turn out to be a success. As they traveled along that brightly lit narrow corridor leading to the ship docks, Isshin detected some sort of fracas loitering about his ship. He gaped, with his conical eyes, at an AEO officer make his way into the hangar. ”Nosy pricks.” Isshin mumbled. General Sullivan didn’t seem to notice Elfier from afar and just began rambling on as they gradually drew near the vessel.
“As I was saying-“ the General paused after seeing Elfeir in the Park Heavy Industry ship. “Elfeir, what are you doing here? are you lost son?” asked gen. Sullivan.
Isshin immediately noticed Katsushiro meddling with the ARX-104 prototype. “More importantly what is that guy doing to my mobile suit.” Isshin remarked.
“Hey! You! Step away from the Gundam this instant!” Isshin yelled out loud in the direction of Katsushiro.

The Freyja managed to regain its power source, and broke free of the asteroid. Its bright emerald eyes stared at the Prawns for a while, then turned around and sped off to the stars...
"That was... Gundam Unit 103... Gundam Balder? It sure looks very powerful..." she thought.

Near Asteroid Xiphidias-99
Emilie had been trying to capture the Gundam when a giant blast came out of nowhere forcing her to push her boosters to the extreme to get out of the way. When the blast ended she looked over to see the Gundam powering up. It looked at her before turning around and flying back to its comrades. When she was about to follow it, Captain Evend's voice came through. "Cpl. Emilie Alberton you are to cease all combat actions and return to base. I will not lose one of my pilots to recklessness." When he doesn't get a response he added, "That is an order, Corporal." "Yes...sir" she said slowly. The unit went silent. She slammed her fists down on the controls, "Damn it all, why did that thing have to interfere? I almost had it." She activated the already exhausted boosters and returns to the asteroid. When she got there her suit was caught in the net because of its lack of legs. She opened the cockpit and jumped out. Just then a soldier walked up to her. "Ma'am, I am under orders to escort you to Captain John Evend. Please come with me." He motioned for her to go in front of him.

Before leaving, the Gundam Balder managed to charge up another shot. This time it aimed at the last two Prawns {Kain and Rap}...
Mega Particle Cannon Type: Beam Damage: 9400 Range: 2~9 spaces Cost: 100 EN Condition: Can only be fired after every phase. Special Effect: Can hit multiple targets within range.
TARGETS: DICE 1: KAIN DICE 2: RAP
David did not look to see whether the hit connects or not. As fast as it showed up, Gundam Balder left the battlefield. Inside, David was kind of annoyed at the two other Gundam pilots for not being able to escape on their own. They had the upper hand, yet they managed to get themselves caught in a net of deception. Fortunately for David, he was receiving direct orders from the higher-ups.
"Those two pilots... Heimdall and Freyja, are only wasting our precious resources..." he mumbled to himself. Maybe they're not really suited for this kind of job. Shame. Pressing on the levers, David got the Balder accelerating to full speed. His destination: the moon.

Keeee-hak! Rap squawked like a mad parrot. He had barely evaded the giant Gundam's second wave motion gun. Rap's Prawn tumbled away from the searing heat of the blast and only got to pull himself together when the bright light was gone. "Fakkk! How the hell did that mobile suit obtain a battlecruiser-caliber weapon!? Fakk it!" he snorted, nostrils flaring like they were volcanoes ready to erupt. But, was Kain so lucky? Rap scanned the area to find traces of his buddy, but couldn't detect anything. Maybe Rap was just fucking too far. "Major Arrows, do you read?"

Drifting outside Xiphiias99, resource satellite.
Everything just happened way too fast. Way, way too fast for Kain. One minute, he's covering the retreat of his team mates, and suddenly he gets blasted apart by a ridiculously large positron/plasma cannon. When the blinding light finally disippated, all the remained of Kain's mobile suit was its torso, and large amounts of noxious smoke emanating from the innards of the hi-mob type Prawn. Kain was not responding. He lay unconscious inside the blasted cockpit. He woke up, and when he looked around he felt a sharp pain in his left arm. It had completely been crushed by the melting metal that used to be his iron womb. Kain's tears started to fall. But they were justified, somewhat. After all, how could he lose? Not to some random mobile suit out there. Trashed was his mobile suit, his left arm injured, and pride, broken. Kain let out a loud wail that would seem to shake all cosmos.

Captain John Evend was looking at the screen in front of him with his mouth hanging open. His best pilot was floating unconscious in his trashed mobile suit. He shook his head to get over the shock, he quickly ordered the rescue team to move out and pick up the remnants of the custom Prawn and its pilot. The team lifted off and headed toward the damages suit. When they got there they pried opened the cockpit and carefully removed Kain from the suit. One of the recovery pilots looked down at his mangled arm and hoped that it could be recovered. They placed Kain in a life-pod, keeping him stable til they can get him to the facilities on-base. They attached cables to the Prawns torso and took it back with them to the hangar. When they touched down they immediately took Kain to the emergency room.

"WHAT? Who... who are you? What do you mean by that?" Katsushiro frantically looked around, trying to somehow keep a straight face. Shit! I’m in big trouble. Perhaps it wasn’t worth it at all. Katsushiro thought. As he saw the general, the young man saluted briskly and winked, trying to act as charming as possible!

"Aesir Wolves?” Isshin parroted uncertainly, before noticing a unique insignia on the Ensign’s uniform. He mistook Katsushiro for a veteran pilot and asked the General if ‘he’ was the test pilot they were talking about. The general halfheartedly said yes, he knows that Ensign Asano was only a trainee and was assigned in the Aesir Wolves so that he could learn form the best AEO has to offer. However the ensign was just recently transferred to the team and the general is unsure what the boy has learned in such a short time. Gen. Sullivan was really hoping that the young Ensign, Katsushiro Asano, would not mess this up, he had no other choice his main pilots are all out on a mission.
“Katsushiro my boy! This guy here is Isshin Yaho, from Park Heavy Industries and that right there is his Gundam. Maybe you could-“But just before the general could make a statement he might soon regret, he thought it be best not to test the mobile suit anymore. He turns to Isshin Yaho with a direct expression and speaks in a low tone (enough for Elfeir to hear but not Katsushiro), “Well you see Mr. Yaho… We don’t have any experienced mobile suit pilots available at the moment. This one is but a fledgling if I let him test the suit now he’ll only clutter it up. I have no quarrel with your work I have faith in your mobile suits and do not see the requirement of proving their worth anymore; or perhaps we could test it some other time if that is your wish.”
Isshin was glad to hear the general’s honesty towards his pilots, he reclaims back to a more relaxed state and replies, “No, that won’t be necessary. As I’ve already told you, I have to be in an important meeting today. I shall leave the mobile suit here and you can contact me if there are any anomalies via my personal comm. Address.”
Moments later, Isshin and his assistant Largam left the AEO moon base. Gundam Soleil was left in the hands of the AEO. General Sullivan was still waiting for the following: his Gundam pilots, and their captain.

PARK HEAVY INDUSTRIES CENTRAL FACILITY Located at the Dark Side of the Moon...
The far side of the Moon is the lunar hemisphere that is permanently turned away from the Earth. The rugged terrain is distinguished by a multitude of crater impacts, as well as relatively few lunar maria. It includes the second largest known impact feature in the Solar System, the South Pole-Aitken basin. This basin is a favorable location for a large lunar facility, as it would be shielded from possible takeovers by both factions.
Park Heavy Industries is known for its profit-oriented mindset - creating advanced mobile weapons for any faction that would be willing to pay, then selling the same technology to the former's enemy. During the Comet Wars, Park Heavy Industries funded the CHROME and gave it access to their technology as the AEO restricted their trading engagements, despite the AEO being their primary customer.
The central facility houses one of the secrets of the universe: A Nexus Gate. The Nexus Gate is a tear in the fabric of space and time, and its origins are unknown. Several Nexus Gates exist in this Solar System, at least three were found and their locations were kept secret. Nexus Gates lead into a parallel empty world, with its version of Earth (will be referred to as "Terra") being nothing more than a small, mineral-rich planet with no life in it. Terra is where the super-strong alloy "G-Mithril" is found. No humans have ever set foot on this alternate Earth: only Park Heavy Industries and its automatons have been able to mine these precious metals that were used in the construction of the GUNDAMs...
Inside the Central Facility's Main Office... the CEO, Mr. Park, is busy observing the drones enter and exit the Nexus Gate. He smiles accordingly, and writes something down in his notebook.

AEO Moon Base Docking Bay for the Gundams.
Gundam Balder arrived home first. The large mobile suit entered the port, where the lunar gravity immediately took hold of it. The Gundam skidded across the floor and was caught by the receiving nets at the end of the hangar. "Unit 103 is back!" yelled one of the maintenance boys. David Garcia opens the chest door of the Gundam and rides the rope down. Once he is on the ground, he ignores the people around him. He asks the worker bot where to find a safe place to rest.

Inside the Asteroid Xphidias-99 Operating Room:
Kain is struggling to keep his life as a cup of blood is lost from his body everytime his heart beats. His body was losing blood so fast that his skin turned pale. But he made sure that nobody took off his mask. Luckily for him his girlfriend Jessica was also there. She told everyone not to take off Kain's mask. "I will have the operation without anesthesia so as long as nobody remove my mask!" Terrified, the surgeons finally allowed Kain to keep his mask on. "Are you sure you don't want to be sedated Major Arrows??" asked the head surgeon. Kain nodded his head and told the surgeon to just do his business. "Cut off my left arm and replace it with a B-6Y8 type prosthetic manipulator! Do it quick!" he snarled at the surgeon.
The surgeon used his laser scalpel to saw Kain's arm off. He administered a local anesthetic but the pain wasn't enough. Kain looked on as the doctors remove fiber by fiber what remained of his fucked up arm. "Arrrrrrggggkkk! Hrrrragh!" Kain moaned in agony. Beside him was his ever loving Jessica who never let go of Kain's other hand despite the horrible ordeal that her boyfriend was experiencing. "Kain, be strong..." said Jessica. But Kain could not be calmed. He kept thinking of the three Gundams that ruined his day. "Shit... you know what when I saw those strange mobile suits and felt their power... in a way that I cannot imagine. I think, I know this feeling! This feeling must be LOVE! Yes, I have fallen in LOVE with those horned mobile suits! My obsession for them will not wane! OOOOOOOOOOH! Darn! I am so going to get you next time, you monsters! You will all be mine!" he yelled, shocking the medical staff around him. "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Kain screamed loudly as the operation continued...

"Hey, what's the noises all about man?" he asked the other soldier. The solider faces Omar and tells him that three powerful mobile suits attacked their asteroid base a few hours ago and that their great hero Kain Arows was heavily injured in his arm. Oh my Gosh! said Omar, and he quickly ran to the operatng room but the nurses wouldn't let him pass through. "Stay where you are sir there is an operation going on!" And so Omar had no choice but to stay in his place and look at the operation from outside the doors.
"It is all my fault. It should have been me, not Major Kain. He is our hero..." Omar said, sobbing. From where he stood he could here Kain's cries of pain. He wanted to be there with his idol, his role model even if the doctors scold him.

"It is all my fault. It should have been me, not Major Kain. He is our hero..." Omar said, sobbing. From where he stood he could here Kain's cries of pain. He wanted to be there with his idol, his role model even if the doctors scold him.
Inside the Asteroid Xiphidias-99 Operating Room:
Captain John Evend rushed over to the emergency room as soon as he was done with giving instructions to the maintenance crew about repairing Kain's and Emilie's suits. When he got there he was given a run-down of everything that had happened thus far. While the nurse was talking he looked over into the waiting area and saw a young man sitting in one of the chairs. He asked the nurse who he was and was told it was some fan-boy who wanted to see his idol or some-such. Thanking him for the information he walked over toward the young man. When he got closer he realized who it was. When General Remington had handed him the list of pilots on his team he had seen the picture of a young Ensign by the name of Omar Danjal. Taking a deep breath, he walked over and sat down beside him.
Unsure about what to do, he wrapped his arm around his shoulder and tried to comfort him. "Omar, you don't need to worry about Major Kain, he is a strong man and I am sure he will pull through. And I am sure he wouldn't want to see someone crying over him. Just have a little faith."

Corridors, Xiphidias-99 Near the Operating Room
Omar instantly recognized the kind person, he was the captain no less. Omar quickly wiped his tears and stood infront of the good officer. "Sir! This is nothing sir!" and he saluted Captain Evend. Somehow it moved him to see that the CHROME soldiers are really nice people, they may be soldiers but they are doing their job only. Omar wanted to be strong like his superiors. He gazed again at the window of the operating room, and prayed fervently for the speedy recovery of Major Kain Arrows.
